Drayton motorised valves now feature removable actuators which simplify installation and future servicing.

No tools are required to fit the actuator to the body as it simply clicks into place.

To remove just press the release button and lift the actuator from the body.

22mm Zone valve

Assembly of the actuator to the valve body is made on site, using the screws provided.

The bodies incorporate two self-cleaning positive shut-off shoes. Flow through the 2 port Heatplan valves can be in either direction.

The spring return actuators have auxiliary switches and one metre of cable with Industry Standard wire colours. A lever enables the valves to be opened manually.

Danfoss Randall valve actuators are designed for direct in-service replacement of actuators on other makes of motorised valves.

The Honeywell 40003918-006 has two uses:

1) As a conversion kit to use a new 40003916-001 replacement powerhead on an old style (pre 1986) V4043 or V8083 motorised valve.
A motorised valve that does not require this kit can be identified by a bump on the top of the powerhead.

2) Used to replace the innards on new style V4043H valve bodies. For example where the valve body is sticking or seized.
